it's gone better than it could have. Took the "kids" back to the shelter to get their vaccines up to date and I wanted them to look at Rocky. He'd had loose stools ever since we got him(not THAT unusual with kittens when environment and diet changes)but started having diarrhea dribbles Friday and Monday AM had a one that was mostly pink water. The vet diagnosed basically kitty giardia and prescribed the same med I had when I had Giardia back in my Forest Service days.
Even though he has to be towel wrapped, he does take the meds which in pill form were NASTY so I can imagine what the liquid tastes like;>! I'm also trying an alt-tx from the Internet for Feline Diarrhea...Pureed Pumpkin. Couldn't be a better time of yr to need THIS stuff;>! So far, so good as long as I feed him his wet catfood/pumpkin mix BEFORE his meds. After....I didn't remember in time how the stuff made me feel. 'Course, 1980 was a while ago;>....
Cheers,
Pat
