What a couple of days! Sooo Thursday starts with Chuck in the early stages of heat Stroke from overdoing it AND throwing out his back. Just as I get him settled and Medicated I get a call from Mom telling me they're in the ER. I get up there and find out Dad's in Renal Failure(probably due to his working outside, Drinking, Medication and poor intake of non-alcoholic beverages). Dad looked better physically Friday than he has in months, probably because his system's been flushed out. MD's hadn't been in yet when I was up so I don't know if his bloodwork is matching his outward appearance. Hopefully, I'll find out something more today.
My younger brother dropped in yesterday so we could talk about "stuff". He's pretty much both in sync with me about them AND the difficulties DEALING with the folks. Even with Dad's Alzheimer's he's not yet Incompetent(legally) and even when Mom isn't and the majority of Best Cases involve moving them out of their house into something they can manage....which they, being Borderline Hoarders(where to you think my Older Brothers got it;>?)ain't gunna happen. The most positive would be finding a duplex in the town they live in and we move in to one side and the folks in the other, something Chris has actually BEEN checking into. Unfortunately ALL he' found only have one free and we need both units available!
on top of everything the mower decides to die;>!

Geeze, man, that is a shitty accounting of the past few day's events. *hugs*

It's certainly been buzy;>! Mom called last night to tell me the hospital's moved him out of ICU so that's certainly a good sign. We'll go pick Mom up at 1000 today and take her up to visit and HOPEFULLY find more out.
