mdehnersWatched the 1st episode of the new season of 'The Walking Dead'. It bodes well for watchers of the show. The last couple of seasons have been "Meh". Honestly? I've taped both and watched 'Talking Dead' 1st to see if the episode was worth watching.
FINALLY. Rick and Tyreese have got their shite together. I hate to sound racist AND sexist but last season watching the latter so "Bunnies & Lite" he couldn't put down a Zombie leaving all the work to the post Battered Woman Carol got reeeeaAAAAAAAAAaaal old. And yes, Rick DID sleep through the end of the world but still, enough time IN the World he should have "Kubler-Rossed" his Sensitivities. He's got two kids to take care of after all....
So glad they didn't pull a whole season of Terminus like they did with the Farm and the Prison. What IMO made last season better than the previous two was just that, no fixed base. Not that I'd be "agin" one if I was a character in the show...I'd just never had trusted a place:
Protected by waist-high wooden or 3 strand barb wire
Never completely cleared
Hopefully, the show will be as it's been told it would be this season, more in line with the graphic novels which are great! It's when they get "Creative" that they don't even get as good as a Scify in house production;>!
