One of the MANY things I love about Fall and Spring is that it's comfortable to go out and sit in my back garden with a mug of good tea and read...or listen to music.
The back patio garden is a combo Mediation, Ritual and relaxation space. Most of the flowers are White and Fragrant. The White-flowered Turk's Cap(relative of the Rose of Sharon) is so tall that the top branched lean over the bistro table, covered off-n-on with bell-shaped blossoms. Very pretty. The Persimmon I have in a pot is beginning to change into it's Apricot-coloured foliage. It hasn't borne fruit yet but I may just keep it for the Fall colour.
The breeze sets the Furin(a Japanese windchime)off, adding to the Feeling of the space. I got a couple pumps from my brother and am thinking of adding a water feature. My top choice is one with one of those bamboo rocking arm types, though it may be too loud and annoying at night. Well, unless I just plug it into a timer;>!
2 plants I've already decided to add to this garden is an English Rose and a Clematis, both White of course;>. My choices will be limited since I need to remember about limited space...something I never had to back at Hummingbird!
Cheers,
Pat
