mdehnersWell, we THOUGHT this had been the best family Xmas in many yrs.....until we found my brother's and his wife's gifts from us stuffed under the wipers of the car the next day. No warning at all there was a problem.
So, Chuck and I had a talk and we've decided no matter what, after Dad dies, we're moving to the nearest city with decent public transportation that we could afford a small 1BR or loft that allows cats.
16 yrs putting up with Passive-Aggressive BS for the sake of family is more than doing one's duty.

We misunderstood. After all, YOU Gays are SO sensitive...
One thing I've noticed about ALL the newagers since the 70's when I met the 1st one. They all share a SINGLE Core Value; You are the Hero of Your Own Story.
ANYTHING that interferes with this narrative is dealt with....even "Consensual Reality". They will ignore or more often "Reframe" to make them once again the "Hero" and ignore ANY attempt to bring them around to "Consensual Reality".
About 15 minutes after I sent my brother another apology(this time directly to his phone)she sent me an email with the subject line of "You Misunderstood". I have no idea what it was since after her nastiest flame I simply delete any from her.....as I've done the last few times. There's no point communicating with someone who CAN'T HONESTLY.
