mdehnersI like to support the work of my co-religionists but usually it's material that I've known about for decades. And while Wayland's book didn't surprise me with new Lore, it DID have a number of insights I hadn't. It also comes with a great "Clif Notes' version of pretty much every bit of Lore presently published in the English speaking world;>!
This is NOT a "101" book and if you don't have at least a "101" level understanding of Heathenry, you'll be often LOST. Modern Pagan/Wiccan background will NOT help. An incredible book for the newish Heathen which covers both the religious AND the cultural variations of Modern Heathenry. I greatly suggest buying it!
