It's been Interesting the last couple of weeks. Chuck's stabilized at poor short term memory most days but can do all the stuff he needs to without help. I had my clinic day and surprisingly my labs were pretty much the same(though I gained .9 of a pound with all the stress eating). I've added another short walk each day with Chuck in the morning, about 3 hrs after my usual one. Every little bit helps!
One of the things I splurged on was a small bookcase so I could move my Spiritual books nearer my altar. It was a bit enlightening;> because I found myself going through books, files and folders that, in some cases hadn't been opened in over a decade and a half!
Books from the study of 3 languages(German, Old Norse and Old English)brought up memories both good and BAD. Old workshoppes both run by me and by others. Good Times;>!
Other than that, it's late Summer in The Dangly Bits. That means Temps and Humidity in the 90's or higher. Looking forward to Fall! A little depressed for my younger brother. Her newest "Shiny Object"is a weird combo of far Right politics and Christian wack-doodleness. Oh, for the days when she was worried her neighbors might be lizard people. I think she may have actually gone off the deep end further than my two older brothers do/did(and they'd been buying guns and gold since the 70's for the "Coming Race War". Even they never believed Democrats feed babies to demons. Family.....

I dunno. I think a case could be made that some multinationals are pretty demonic - including the ones running health insurance. And both parties seem dedicated to enabling them.

And then there's the INS, which doesn't seem to have gotten all that much worse than it already was, since the bad orange took over :-(

Quite true. The sad thing is that the Reps usually get away with it more, mainly because the Dems are such FB's. I just treat her like I do my older brothers; smile, nod and make "polite noise", nothing of substance. When she's away from the 'net she's fairly normal. She's beginning to turn into one of those Shut-ins like in Japan. I didn't know she didn't go to the grocery except when my brother was home(except for dire emergencies). My fav recently was one of her sites was saying the moon phases were reversed, yet she not once simply went out and LOOKED. I could see Mani clearly for the two days after she told me this so she had no excuse for seeing for herself...
