Oops(again)!

mdehnersSo, YET AGAIN my distaste for what's been going on in the World and my country has lead to me missing the 1st night of a Freeze Warning. Well, all I can say is Darwin is going to be working this Winter;>! On the bright side, I'll have to replace the Dead with new plants!
I try to keep my focus on my hobby and my Spirituality to keep from getting further Depressed about Chuck's continuing declining condition. He can still take care of himself but he ha zip for short term memory. He has told be something, turned around and after a handful of steps come back to tell me the exact same thing. I'm pretty sure he's had another Stroke, abet a small one. Not much we can do except Love and keep him comfortable. My MHW's going on Maternity leave in a couple months which looks like it will be perfect because I feel by then I'm not going to be able to leave him for more than an hr. He's upbeat though he often forgets that his Tivo mini's dead and asks me to "fix his TV". We got them after my folks Passed so it's not surprising they're on their "last legs". Hopefully, they'll come on sale soon and we can get him back to regular TV. I have him hooked up to a number of Streaming services through his Bluray player but he dos like Game shows...something I never got, even as a kid.
Yule is all taken care of though we can't yet put anything under the tree without the cats dismantling the packaging. We usually put them under a couple days before and try to keep ahead of the damage;>!
I've pretty much decided for my 2019 Spiritual Project to "heal" the damage caused during the Theodisc takeover of ASHmail yrs ago. I didn't care for private emails that told that "people like you are not welcome here". In ASHmail's defense. Lord ___ didn't dare to post these type thoughts ON the list. A few yrs back I began the Healing by going a yr using the AS Names instead of my Usual Norse. I found no change + or - to my Experiences during Blot or Sumbel. This time I'll go Whole ASH;>! Did a couple of Meditations to See if there was any reason I shouldn't and got back pretty much a "meh". After all, I'm still Patrick Duffy even if my Irish name is Padraig Dubh….

I remember you as being very dispirited by your last ASH year; I do hope it works out for you this time.

Date: 2018-12-09 05:31 pm (UTC)One of the things being Solitary over all these yrs is that I no longer equate people always with their Way. Just because some/most/etc of their Followers are total Smegheads doesn't make the Way invalid. So I've been inching back toward ASH for about a decade.A little language, a blot or two, Devotions using OE terminology, etc. Who knows where I'll be this time next yr?
