General Update....
Aug. 26th, 2020 01:17 pmChuck's doing much better since I stopped the Ambien. Still doesn't sleep much(at night) but better puttering around the kitchen than stumbling around the house falling;>. Other than that, about the same.
Me? I think I've got all I'm going to out of the back surgery. Considering it took Medicare over 2 decades to ok it(when the disks ruptured and herniated aids/hiv folk weren't allowed surgery) I'm glad I got a much "bounce" as I did. From Walker to cane, from 90mg Morphine daily to 60, that's still success.
I'm guessing the move will be somewhere between Samhain and Thanksgiving, since our apt requires upgrading the kitchen and bathroom as well as our own driveway. The last couple of weeks the neighbors kept asking me if we were moving at the 1st of the month . Not us but my brother. Seems his Realtor's so good that not only did they sell the folks home "as is" before they could tell their renter they were Selling, thye did the same with their present house....so my SIL for the 1st time in at least 2 decades will have to move in to a home "as is";>. They'll get our unit set up then move in temporarily while they get there's up to Sandi's standards. With this early move I'm guessing more likely Samhain then Thanksgiving. It'd be nice if we were in by Chuck's birthday on 11/2.
I admit not looking forward to getting new md's for both of us though....
Oddly looking forward to my 1st Snow since Fall of 1992;>....
Cheers,
Pat
