Winter Wonderland....
Dec. 27th, 2022 11:57 amSo, I woke to our 1st Snow of the year this morning. A nice ending for a crappy week.
On the afternoon of the 23rd, before even the storm hit the power went off. All Hail the Gas Fireplace;>! It DID come back on after a few hrs(just as we were going to bed) but kept going off sporadically all night. Just added Xmas lighting by way of blinking clocks. Then, on Xmas Eve day, Rolling Blackouts a half hr at a go till......Surprise Xmas Day!
Since then the Power has remained on and during the day I turn on the fireplace every time it drops below 68F (Chuck gets Cold easily).
Pretty outside though.
We broke a number of records for low Temps this week. Even before this we were already colder than at any time last Winter. It got so cold(HowCold Was It? 6F) that all the potted plants in the cold frame were brought in and are still.
Cheers,
Pat
