Getting back into swing....

mdehnersThings are stabilizing here in Crow Holler. Chuck's care is sorted(hope I didn't jinx it;>) and I see him at least twice a week. The nurses and at least one of the nurses aides have my back so I can unclench a tad.
Me? Got my Neuro appt last week and at least it's not cancer. My choices are:
Lose 50+ lbs since the last surgery did a number on my back muscles and they'll have to go through the front AND quit my pain meds.
The other is basically a pacemaker for the back. Guess which one I'll try 1st;>!
I had already planned on losing weight next yr since I'd lost 50 lbs but gained 15 since Chuck went into hospital. The pain meds however, without some sort of replacement is a non-starter.
Got all the spring bulbs planted and am just trying to get myself into the mood for decorating. Did a little over with Chuck' part of the room but just can't get into the spirit. Shocking I know.......
Of my new hobby, a screw up with my order from the sme company I'd ordered pipe tobacco from before ended up me discovering a company that does a lot of bulk sales and so I got away with a number of types for under $3.00. I've tried the pumpkin Spice as well as the Apricots and Cream. I'll try the Christmas Special, Creme Brulee and Irish Mist later. I smoke less than twice a week(usually after visiting Chuck) so what would last a 50's sitcom dad a day will last me at least a quarter year;>
