Bigotry is NOT Logical...

mdehnersthough a lot of folks seem to think it is. Why else would you try to "educate" them;>?
This came up this AM as I was reading one of the news sites I do. On one a reporter was confused by Mitt Romney being against the Manhattan Islamic Center. After all, Mormons experienced similar Bigotry...RIGHT? Apeearantly, the reporter missed the whole LDS Church being the main backer of Prop 8.
Maybe it'd be different with Polytheistic minority religion but with Monotheistic ones, there are two modes of Practice:
When we are a Minority and have to deal with Infidels
When we aren't and no longer HAVE TO.
Learned that one early. Met Mormons when we lived in Turkey. Then we moved "Behind the Zion Curtain". Big difference. Let's put it this way. You know the reason my folks moved to Florida? Because their restaurant was firebombed. Why? BECAUSE THEY SERVED COFFEE!!!!!!!!!
The dumbest thing you can EVER do is to think that a Bigot's Bigotry can be changed by a well-reasoned arguement or even FACTS.
