Faded Photographs....

I was Cleaning yesterday and I was noticing the old phone jacks, gathering dustbunnies. Like many folks, we no longer have LAN lines, though I fought it as long as I could(as an example I was the only one in my family that had phone service during 'Katrina' and 'Rita' since both Cell and Cable were down...). I had a "flash" to my 1st home after GRadfuating Nursing school. Some friends and I joined together to Rent this Victorian. Along the walls were these nipples. I asked the Owner and he told me that they were the Gaslight outlets and that all one had to do to run them again was to reinstall the fixtures and turn the stopcock(something a friend did with his in DC, making his home a strangly Magical place...).
Technology continues.....
