Major Bummer....
Jan. 16th, 2005 02:02 pmIt’s been a rough week. Been more tired than usual and when I went to the clinic I found out my labs sucked. Looks like I lost about a 1/3 of my T-cells SINCE the new meds. On the “positive” side, the level of virus in my blood is down…so I shouldn’t over-react. It did, however, make me decide not to order any fruit trees this Spring. I think I’ll still to things that don’t take yrs to Bless us with their products. Oh, and I had a migraine for two days< G >…
I’ve been trying to get the Energy to help start the new Beginning Old English list on yahoogroups but beyond reviewing Letter value and Pronunciation I’ve done squat. Really, the only thing I got done was a “Clif-notes” version of The Days of Remembrance for my continuing “Heathen 101” for my local Pagan list. Not that anyone there is really Interested. The days when Wiccans and Pagans were actually Interested in Historically pre-Christian European material is long Past. I guess today doing so is like a Mormon becoming a Mason…pretty disillusioning.
I’ve got some good Ideas for my contribution to our local Beltane campout’s Faire. Incising Traditional designs into bark and wooden boxes, as well as doing some by Wood-burner. I’m better at Jellinge-style than Urnes, which is too bad because I like the “Art Nuevo” style of the Urnes-style better< G >…
