Which Comes 1st?
Oct. 1st, 2005 06:34 pmBelief-Systems are Interesting Things. Where does One find Attractive the One that most Resembles One’s Own Verold, and Where does One’s Belief-System Influence One’s Verold? Is it Quantifiable? About One’s Childhood Belief-System(s), this is Generally Obvious. If it is TOO Alien to One’s Verold, One does not Remain in that Belief-System. But what of that of an Adult? A Mature Adult(they ARE Different, though some think Otherwise;>…)?
Personally, I think of them as Mutually Reinforcing. You are Attracted to/Feel Comfortable in/with a Belief-System that most Resembles your Verold. The Values/Ethics/Mores of that System then Feed-Back, Subtly Altering/”Tweaking” the Verold more In-Line with that of the Belief-System. In General, I’ve Found members of more “Orderly” Belief-Systems become More Orderly and those of more “Chaotic” Ones, well…..
