mdehnersI have let my Spiritual Work slide soooo much this yr with all the "distractions" that Life in Midgarðr has "Blessed" me with. It was only a couple of weeks ago I restarted my Evening/Bedtime Lore Readings. 'Course, right now the problem with DuBois' 'Nordic Religions in the Viking Age'is staying Awake long enough to finish the reading;>. He could be Bugge, he's so boring.....
Was Hoping to get either Swain's or Hjuki's new book but, as usual(for me...) money set aside is just enough for an unexpected Need. PTTTTPPPBBT!!!!! as Opus or Bill the Cat would say.....
For a region a ft short so far this yr in Rainfall, HOW COME THERE ARE SO MANY BLOODY SKEETERS!?!?! Sheesh. I'm a bit Worried about Mildred's property(my neighbor who Died last Winter....). She didn't have automatic sprinklers and her family comes out maybe twice a month. If the chainsmoking neighbors on the other side of her aren't careful, we'll have one heck of a blaze. You Know it's Dry when Virginia Creepers are Dying. At least'Round hyar we have to "Deal" with only 3 of the 5 Japanese Fears(Hurricane, Earthquake, Flood, Fire and Daddy). Well, not so much a Fear but trepidation. Dad has both keys and a complete disregard for ANYONE'S Privacy. Drives Chuck nutz. Me, almost 50 yrs of him popping up whenever he feels like it whenever I've Lived within Driving range has left me innured. 'Course, I've been Known to forget to close the bathroom door as well, so needless to say, Personal Privacy's not a big deal to me;>.
Wondering if I should renew my sub to 'Lavran's 'Marklander'. Ever since he joined the Normannii it's become pretty FOcused on them. Now I am very Interested in all aspects of ASH, it's just that I Feel Odd since the Unpleasantness between them and the Inglsic Heathens I Know better. In all Honesty though, the number of great articles per issue is about the same, just with a "Norman" flavor, so....
