I just don't Understand.....

mdehnersWhen I'm too Uncomfortable to sleep, my braincells play Poker(which is a bit odd since I don't;>)and BS. One of the things that they got into is some of the things I've been told that, "You just don't Understand.". Here's a few over the last 30+ yrs:
A village both outnumbers and outarms a handful of Outlaws. The villagers run away or simply huddle in their homes instead of banding together to defend themselves....
People who walk most of the day are told that ____ is coming and they need to leave ASAP, but the road is unpassible to cars. Safety is less than a two hr walk. They stay and die....
Villagers are Starving because the crops have Failed, yet they are surrounded by an active ecosystem.....
People Know their neighbor(s) are OUtlaws, yet they do nothing. The Law ends up battling them and their property and/or persons are injured. They attack the Law, not the Outlaws and accept no Responsibility for the event....
A People who had been Slaves take Slaves, then Free them. Some of the Slave-folk now keep Slaves but only the ex-Slavers are castigated...
A Folk take Land from It's inhabitants and have it taken from them. This repeats for multi millenia. WHo's is it?
Gays are Evil because they are Promiscuous. Gays who wish to be in Monogamous Relationships are Evil because they can't have children. But they aren't Evil?!?!
A man has sex with any child that has gone through Puberty is Evil. A woman is only Evil if she has it with a girl.....
Abortion is Wrong. Carving up of Genetalia is Acceptable because it's part of certain cultures....
Just a few of many things that folks have told me over the yrs that I just don't Understand.....
