mdehnersAugust is turning out to be quite the SOB. 1st was the extra $100 added to the water bill(that used to go to meds...)and now, while at my MD appt today they told me that due to both Spending Cuts AND and increased "Migrant" population, Medicare patients will now lose a majority of their coverage in the public health system(of Florida). Even Emergency funds have been discontinued. In other words, this month I can't afford two, maybe three meds. To add to this, they recommended that I live alone because all inhabitants Income will now be used to "SLiding Scale", even if they do not contribute to your bills (such as a roomate). This, of course does not apply to "The Undocumented" who will continue to be given Care, Treatment and Meds, even if they have no intention to pay. SO, working and paying into the system, doing things Right since the mid "70's" gets you.....?
As I walked out through the Waiting room full of pregnant women with a couple kids around each, the only English I heard was the Intercom paging for another Interpreter(the one's that they had to fire nurses to afford to Hire...). All I could think was, "where is my fukk'n gun?". Oh, that's right. I don't have one anymore. No Depth Perception or complete function in each hand. I WOnder if you can use an old Yogurt maker to make a Bio-weapon;>?
