mdehnersNot a good day to have started "weaning" myself off my anti-depressant. Angel flew away today. I was letting Ethel out to do her "bidness" and he came ripping in from the living room, through the screen porch and out an almost closed door. It's a windy, hot day and he's an ALbino "City Boy" who won't eat anything but his regular kibble or drink out of his bowl. I've been out a number of times looking but, unlike when Stormy did a few yrs ago, I've no "feel" for him. He's either dead or too far away. I asked the parents who were waiting to pick up their kids at the bus stop on our side yard but only one could speak English....
Robia called from the clinic as well. SHe noted that I was upset when I left. SHe reminded me that the 21st was the board meeting but I'm wondering what would be the point. All the things I warned them about for the last couple of yrs has come to pass(dern Clairvoyance;>!)and not only do they not have the extra funds, they had their budget slashed. Considering the last big project energy was brought to was snatched up by "Children and Families" and our patients are Verbotten, why should I or we? It has been very clear in the last few yrs. If you are an AMerican with only Medicare, you are not a priority. If you are NOT an AMerican you are, esp if you are Illegal with children....
