mdehnersChuck quit his job last night. While I’d have preferred him to wait until our family reunion or his tax refund(whichever came 1st) but this train-wreck has been coming for a while...
When he 1st started work there, his co-workers were middle-aged(and older) Southern Bluecollar women, hard workers all. Since then, they’ve moved, Retired or been transferred, leaving the dept short-handed and with only two other permanent employees. One, a member of the ‘COPS- Trailerpark Tails’ dept and the other who learned her workskills in the Soviet Block. He does his and some of their work, he complains and he’s “not a team player”. His new supervisor is a woman he trained and she couldn’t do that job correctly. She’s one of those who wishes to be a boss simply TO Boss, not knowing or caring about the responsibilities that go with the authority. She’s also “shtupping” one of the night supervisors, whose also doing her paperwork for her…
I’m not glad of the major crash in our household income(I hate using foodbanks and stuff, since I don’t eat much pre-fab food) but I’d rather go through this than have him being Used every day…
