I Hate Christians....

mdehnersPretty Harsh, huh? Well, until a couple of weeks ago I followed the maxim, “Hate the Religion, not the Religioner”. After all, they can’t help themselves, right? I Realized that I wasn’t being “Fair & Balanced”. I was acting as if they didn’t really Honestly Believe what they were Taught, just “going with the flow”. How do I Feel when folks say the same about MINE?
As a kid I didn’t “get it”. To me, it seemed a “cheat” to get out of a mess you made without an Honest effort to clean it up. Also, the whole “Original Sin” scam. It’s like a drug company helping folks have kids that will require their product to keep them alive. To me, a scam artist is not the kind of Deity I want to look to.
I’ve dealt with various “flavors” of Christianity over the yrs and NONE have, to paraphrase Lyndon Johnson’s vice-president’s comment, “worth a bucket of warm piss”. Sure, some of their members have been “nice”, but it’s purely Superficial. BTW, I’m talking about Real Christians. At least some of the Rep candidates were Honest. The Dems?
The “best” Christian I’ve ever Known was a lady that cried because “I was going to Burn in Eternal Hellfire”, simply because I’m Gay. Worked all my life, paid my taxes, one speeding ticket(so far;>) and worked and volunteered to help the Ill and neglected. Her son, an IV druggie who had never had a job in his Entire life, who Intentionally gave hiv to a number of women and sold drugs at Sunday school however……
And that’s the best Christian I’ve Known in almost a ½ Century, in 4 countries….
