Thanks to the weather, I've been watching DVD's the last couple of days and have to remommendations: 'Planet Terror' and 'Black Sheep'.
'PT' is the 2nd half of the dbl-feature 'Grindhouse'. No substance, just lots of fun. Plays the "70's" monster genre to the hilt: Mad scientists, crazed military,biowarfare, lesbianism, stupid kids, rednecks...the works. One of my fav scenes is when the owner of the best BBQ in TExas finds out what his sauce needs for perfection...a cannabalistic Mutant's blood!
'BS'(which I beleive was done on purpose;>) is brought to you by Peter Jackson's folks down in New Zealand. A combo of 'Shaun of the Dead' and '28 Days Later'....except with Raging sheep. Mad Scientists, Genetic Engineering, Animal Rights Activists,Hippies, New Age Therapy, Bestiality, Cannibalism, wersheep...the list goes on. This is one sick puppy;>......
