Fall Follies....

Like Merry, it was nice to get a bit of Outdoor work done. Some Pruning, some Winterizing, some Lawncare. While I was Mowing a soldier stopped by to ask if he could have some starts of some plants he saw in my garden for his wife, who he married while stationed in the Philippines. I thought it Sweet, not just that he was doing this for his wife but that he actually recognized the plants the food had come from;.! Most Het guys , if they recognize any sourceplant it’s the Tomato because it’s the only fruit that “butch men” are allowed to cultivate in a garden. I not only gave him starts of those but others I Knew were also used in Philippine and other S Asian cuisines….
I’ve not been much for posting anything of Substance lately because I’ve been in a bit of a “Why Bother” Mood about most things going on about the Planet. One of those things I’m Working on is that the Regin CAN have assholes as valid Followers. While I have no problem with that sentiment when it comes to YHVH, I found that I held my God/desses to a higher standard. I forgot that They both don’t have much more “handle” on the behavior of their Followers than YHVH and Yeshua ben Yusef do AND that there may be something about them that a particular Regin… even those Known for their Support of Honesty and Integrity might find Useful.
I DO however Wish that they would all keep their Testosterone-poisoned, Pissing contests off public lists. Listening to guys who generally can’t bench a box of soda calling each other out for a swordfight, esp. when they Live 1ooo’s of miles away from each other is Irritating at best. Luckly, most of them do this on Heathen-only lists so the general public doesn’t have to see such childish behavior. As my Dad would say, “Be a mna and GROW UP!!!!”
