What Do They Want?

mdehnersFood? Obedient Slaves? Students? "Redshirts"/Pawns? What DO Dieties' want?
Personal UPG(since I'm not a Borgist)is that it depends on the Diety. Some DO Feed on their Followers. Some Do want Slaves both Physical and Mental. Some use their Followers as MTD(Mobile Trap Detectors)in their campaigns against Thier Rivals. And some just want Humans to Grow Up and Take some Responsibility as well. The problem is that it isn't easy to tell which is which, esp. if you aren't into Looking at things from different perspectives. One big danger sign is self-reference. If your Positive(or Neutral) Answers only come from the same Source as that Deity, you're pretty sure to be Assisting a Spiritual Predator. After all, don't we Wash our Food before Eating it?
Even within a Way there's differences, when it's Polytheistic. I've yet to figure out how folks can Understand why Individuals in a Physical Family can be markedly different(even to the point of being Moral Opposites) yet completely ignore that the same Differences exist in the Spiritual. We won't even GO into those that Willfully Ignore Reality to fulfill agendas. Their Lives Speak volumes....
