It’s really annoying having the great feeling of accomplishment for getting so much done about the house and yard coloured by the reaction of your body reacting to it. Aids is a very irritating illness. Got most of the greenhouse work done as well. Soon it’ll be ready for all the freeze-tender plants to be moved in or propagated for next yr. It always amazes me that a place that’s too hot in Summer for Tropicals can end up with so much crap growing in it by Fall. Looks like it’s shifting(gee, built on sandy soil, wohodathunkit;>?) so it’s off to Home Depot next payday for spray insulation and caulking. With that and an old space heater I can keep it above Freezing all Winter as well as getting an early start on Spring Planting. We have a problem…we don’t really HAVE a Spring here. It basically goes from Days about Freezing to Days in the 80’sF. Most Spring veggies here are either Fall or are started about Yule….
I did notice something Interesting. The Wights in the kitchen garden were the same kind as in the house proper, not that of the yard in general….which are different than those in the Woods or Dunelands by the beaches(those not plowed over to make Yuppie Warrens…). …
