Venting and Ranting....Useful?
Nov. 9th, 2007 09:28 amI deleted another post to my blog again. I think I’m deleting more of them than posting. Reviewing them, I realized that they, like most of my other posts have been mostly venting in some form. Something Merrill Streep said “clicked”. She said that the Internet has often become a way to avoid actually doing things. We go on our lists or blogs and “vent”, Feeling that we’ve done something Constructive and then go on with our lives. She’s RIGHT….
I should Know this. Much of the companies I worked with before being Disabled did this, as did my 1st two kindreds. Folks spoke, they felt better and the pressure to have to deal with the problem(s) had been released. The PTB’s could continue doing what made THEM happy, no matter how detrimental it would be in the long run.
Venting does serve a Useful purpose. It keeps us from Exploding. The Difficulty is not “bleeding off” too much of that Energy so that the problem(s) that caused the pressure will get Addressed.
