Been mostly doing yardwork; Mowing, clearing Freeze-killed vegitation(including in the greenhouse...that's COLD!, etc. The Freeze followed by this warm weather's triggered a number of the wildflowers I've encouraged(probably one of the reasons I have so many Landwights about)to "naturalize" on the property to Bloom. As much as I Feel bad ifthey lost a yr's reproduction, I want it to get cold again soon so we don't have the fruit-bearing trees and shrubs getting "nailed" by a later freeze if they get going.
Had an Interesting visit from Redbeard's Daughter. That makes all the "kids" of His now. Hummm....
On the lighter, fluffier side, embedded is the oh-so-unforgettable(no matter how you try;>)theme to my newest time-waster, 'Gintama'. This Anime has no redeeming value other than entertainment. Think 'Family Guy', 'South Park', 'The SImpsons', except:
Set in Japan in the 1700's, 20 yrs after a multi-species alien empire conquers Earth. Our new masters, have given tech "trinkets" to the level of today's tech to keep the Natives in line. The 2nd in command of the Police is always trying to kill his boss "by accident". The Boss is "stalking" the sister of one of the main characters, except she's a better fighter than him and routinely cleans his clock. The main character is a Falstaff-type in personality who'd rather read Tabloids and nap than fight, esp against the transvestite "landlady". Oh, and there is an Alien foul-mouthed Babe whose umbrella has more functions than a James Bond car who came to Earth for the food...
