Jan. 8th, 2007 12:45 pmI’m re-reading HRED’s ‘Gods and Myths of Northern Europe’ and realized that I haven’t seen my copy of her ‘Road to Hel’ in a while. I guess I better “bone up” on it’s info with what’s going on in my Life;>.
The clinic was sooo kind to send me material to “put things in order”. I’m not worried about being kept alive on machines. After all, I’m from a family that Matrilineally is Cancer prone and Patrilinearly that of Alzheimer’s. My biggie is that since Gays are 2nd class citizens in the States my folks’ preferences “trump” mine funeral-wise. My Mom esp has a “thing” about Cremation, just as I have about being pickled and sealed in a giant lunchbox….
I Remember a newager who once told me that Cremation was wrong because like Plants and Rocks, Corpses have “Feelings”. Well, I’d rather “Feel” the rather swift experience of Radical Oxidation to the slow of Anoxic Decomposition post Preservative;>…..
