Do Not Ask.....
Jan. 4th, 2009 01:00 pmOne thing real friends KNow is NOT to ask my Opinion if they really don't want to hear it. I'm not a big fan of what is sometimes called "Polite Noise". One not-so-smart asked me about the business in Gaza. I guess they figured being Gay and non-Christian I'd be of a certain Political "bent". I tried to be Polite, simply saying that IMO the only Good Things to come out of the region were:Figs, Dates, Pomegranites,Olives and Frankincense....
I'm not a fan of ANY of the "Book" religions. That said, my experiences as a kid leave me not with much trust toward Muslims and nothing in the last 40 yrs since has changed it. Stupid folks do stupid things and others SUffer. DUH! It's up to a folk to Punish their "Stooopids", not other folks. Personally, I think they're Lucky to have those that have been running things in Israel. I would have slagged the whole region after the death of the 1st Heathen and hunted down their relations globally decades ago. As I said, it's a Good Thing....
