Not record-breaking but Temps lower than they've been for a couple of yrs. Poor lil furnace, just to keep the house above 73F during the day it never shuts off! Typical old Deep South house, only attic has insulation and that's what WE put in....
Ice on the Lotus pots, birds on the ice. At least that means Mosquitoe season is over;>. Looking on the bright side, there'll probably be room for new plants come Spring. The problem with ice is that we can't use the hose to Water the greenhouse, now that the pump is down. Appearantly, my non-bio (other than the killing thereof;>) bro hasn't "got" that plants need water in WInter as well if the ground isn't Frozen. Shlepping to the greenhouse is a royal PAIN....
