Priorities.....

Chuck and I were talking about his ex Paul who, with his Partner'll be dropping by for a couple days on their way to New Orleans. One of the things Chuck's noticed(and he's known Paul since the early 80's) is his religiousity in the last few yrs. 90% of e-mails from him are something from the Catholic Church, various Rosaries, etc.
I told him I understood in a way. After all, he's in his 70's. Many folks as they near their "Expiration Date" think about getting their shite together Spiritually. I certainly found after my aids diagnosis that I became more Compliant toward my Way's Tenets and Holy Days. I still tend to.
It's also why I tend not to give much Patience to FauX Ways. I can't see anyway that something made up is Healthful SPiritually. This doesn't mean that I consider something New Invalid....unless it states it is NOT. By Lying about what It Is taints the Beleif System. If you aren't good enough on your own...YOU AREN'T.
This goes for Wiccan Traditions that still state Wicca is the religion of pre-C Europe, the LDS Church, etc.
Oh, and if there are Aliens Involved....please get the fukk out of my Life!
