Get Over It Girlfriends!

I'm reeeeeaaaalllly getting tired of hearing yet again, "It's not FAIR!"because you have a Gay friend that treats you the way you Wish Het guys in your Life WOULD(except for the Sex of course;>). It's NOT OUR FAULT! For one thing, we're usually the one friend you have that WARNED you about the guy you're PRESENTLY "bitching" about."Flip This Boyfriend" NEVER works.
Also, perhaps one of the reasons you keep Dating Losers(Oh, I'm sorry, "Rebels") is because all your Emotional Needs except for relationship Drama is being met by your Gay BFF. BTW, that's also NOT OUR FAULT. You're our friend because we like you. Sadly, Female Pop culture for the last couple of decades has told Women that they "Deserve" a male Partner that basically is a "Girlfriend" except in bed. Hate to break it to you but most Het guys(and they DO talk to us. After all,we're also guys. They're NOT going to talk to you all about this sort of stuff)don't want to be or wish to think like women. Even most Gay guys don't. We just Understand because like you, we have Relationships(both Emotionally and Sexually) with Men. We just don't pretend that guys aren't something they're not...and there are whole sections of bookstores and libraries of books that say that they ARE(usually written by WOmen).
If you're a Het Lady, Accept that your Het Man is NOT a "girlfriend". Stop trying to make him one and stop "bitching" in our ear because he WON'T. Truth is, amny times your Gay BFF Feels the Guy is right. A Het Guy isn't a Woman with a penis. We just like you enough to buy another cocktail and nod, "Um-humm"....

SNAFU

Every yr or so someone in Public Health comes up with a way to "save money"(translation:spend less on clients. They NEVER cut their own stuff and usually come up with a way to grow their unit/dept)and every time things are screwed up for a time. This time they've out done themselves with me being out of two of my aids Meds for the last 5 days.
1st "bump" was that the program didn't start until the 1st of Jan, no matter WHEN your perscription ran out.
2nd was that they didn't have the Meds in stock
3rd was that they ordered them and Monday was a holiday
4th was that they didn't get the Meds restocked
and 5th, today when the actually filled out my perscription we found out that the program doesn't recognise my ID and the only "Help" CVS Pharmacy has(I know, if I had any other choice....)is their automatic fill line. I contacted the health dept(whose Masters in Tallahassee came up with this BS program and probable kickback to Scott & Co)and they said they'd work on it form their end.
Ah, the joys of living in a Red State. Social Darwinism as a Party Platform....
