Long Night & Day...
Apr. 5th, 2012 12:52 pmBad news? Mom went in the hospital for chest pain. Good News? They just finished the cath and all she needed was a stent to be replaced.
With her, just the diagnostic test is dangerous. When you combine an 80+ woman with "idiosyncratic reactions"(like me)to meds/dyes/adhesives/etc, even a routine test can be unsettling. Dad called from her room saying she did well and looks good but not to "pester" her till tomorrow. Considering with her Coagulation issues she'll be sandbagged and flat on her back all day, they last thing she wants is to play hostess.
This was the 1st one I felt uneasy about and she's had these or worse pretty much at least once a yr for the last decade. Hopefully, all is and will continue to be well....
Cheers,
Pat
