Jul. 5th, 2012 06:22 amThere are 2 holidays here in the States I dread...New Yrs and the 4th. This is because both husband and dog don't Tolerate Explosive noises(Fireworks, Firearms, Thunder, Bombs-we live 15 miles from where the Airforce tests it's Armaments, including the "Bunker-Buster" and MOAB bombs)AT ALL.
So, last night we thought it was all over and went to bed. All of us with heads on pillows(normally, this is cute;>). Well, some Eejit started setting them off. Boo-Boo jumped up barking madly. Me, startled out of almost sleep goes to sit up at that exact moment. SNAP!!!!!
In Truth I get worse injuries clearing brush in the yard but any wound on the head Bleeds quite impressively. I do look a bit like a Domestic Violence Survivor at the moment;>.....
