I've never Understood folks that work against both they and their own's self-interests. Even as a kid I didn't. Maybe(heck, PROBABLY;>!) my Life would have been easier if I didn't Think so much, Read so much, Learn so much.
Part of it, I guess is that it's not that big of a "burden" to do so, esp nowadays....esp in the West.
If your Religion, Sexuality, Gender, Economic Class Position, etc is disliked by a person...leave them out of your life. Yes, even if they're biologically related to you.
If a company...shop elsewhere. And for the Eejits who SAY they don't like Wal-Mart but HAVE to shop there? STFU! Even our town which is Walmart-Centered there are other stores that provide what WM does. 'Course, your lazy arse has to go to mult stores which might take time away from your Time-Wasting Activities;>
The whole 'Chik-Fil-A' brouhaha is funny to me because yrs ago I complained to the local aids org when I found out they were catering their client lunches using them. It was one of many reasons that added up to my no longer Volunteering there. 'Course another was what brobably lead to them using it, that there were no longer any Gays or aids clients with any Power there anymore. Like most, once the Meds came in,so did the gov't and social worker-types that are more Interested in bureaucratic power-collecting than client service. In the "Old Days", it'd be a "no-brainer" choosing someone else(like the 'Arby's'across the street;>). Sadly, most folks are lazy. Not surprising since Humans decended from Scavenging Primates....
