Creepy.....

So, I'm watching a couple of the new episodes of the new season of, 'Girls who like Boys who like Boys' and more and more find myself creeped out by one of the gays. The man is a songwriter for folks like 'Lady Antebellum' and his BFF is also one. Thing is, he had a bad spot a few yrs ago and "Found Jesus". Like most folks with a purely Feeling-based Reality system, the idea that his Feelings aren't Universal, let alone perhaps Useful never occurs to him. So, he's in the "Buckle of the Bible Belt" and cheerfully ignores his fellow co-religionists Beliefs and actions while pressing his friends, both Homo and Het to "Find the Joy of Jesus". His BFF is more of a Newager and finds even her treaclely Ecumenicism threatened by both the actions of local Christians and the complete lack of Respect he gives HER Beleifs....
Self-Proclaimed Gay "Jesus Freaks" freak me out(more than the usual mundane Het ones) because they stand for the worst Humans are capable of; to Ignore Reality simply because to do so makes them "Feel less Happy". They truly Beleive that "Ignorance is Bliss". Sadly, I'm sure his Future will turn out as EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE EEJITS has that I've known in the last 35 yrs...the more Rigid the Beleif, the more likely Catastrophic Failure when Reality's Influences come calling....

Right Age.....

I know a lot of folks my age who wish they were younger but I don't. Maybe if I believed this one life was it I might but since I don't....I'm actually pretty happy being on the "Downward Slope of Entropy" as Diana of 'Waiting for God' would put it;>.
Truth is, the World has changed during my life and I've Lived enough of it not to feel like I wasted it. Then again, not all the Changes were for the better IMO. It sometimes annoys me about my MD that she'll interpret this attitude as "depression" but I'm not Depressed(well, unless I accidentally turn on Fox and then it's mixed with anger;>). Having certain "Gifts" at times can be, esp. when you could see Pivot Points in your lifetime and see the(IMO) Brighter Future choice consistantly avoided. Not all of them though, it was nice to see in the mid 80's the superimposed Visions of vacant ruins of the place I was walking or even driving through. Sadly, at Present there are no Timelines in which Humanity does not have it's beyond this system(and at present, not even off it...). So, Humanity doesn't Go to the Stars. Most Sentient Species probably don't either.....
So, I'm glad to be at the Arse-End of Lifespan. As long as Chuck Passes before me so I can Protect him I'll be Happy...
