Right Age.....

mdehnersI know a lot of folks my age who wish they were younger but I don't. Maybe if I believed this one life was it I might but since I don't....I'm actually pretty happy being on the "Downward Slope of Entropy" as Diana of 'Waiting for God' would put it;>.
Truth is, the World has changed during my life and I've Lived enough of it not to feel like I wasted it. Then again, not all the Changes were for the better IMO. It sometimes annoys me about my MD that she'll interpret this attitude as "depression" but I'm not Depressed(well, unless I accidentally turn on Fox and then it's mixed with anger;>). Having certain "Gifts" at times can be, esp. when you could see Pivot Points in your lifetime and see the(IMO) Brighter Future choice consistantly avoided. Not all of them though, it was nice to see in the mid 80's the superimposed Visions of vacant ruins of the place I was walking or even driving through. Sadly, at Present there are no Timelines in which Humanity does not have it's beyond this system(and at present, not even off it...). So, Humanity doesn't Go to the Stars. Most Sentient Species probably don't either.....
So, I'm glad to be at the Arse-End of Lifespan. As long as Chuck Passes before me so I can Protect him I'll be Happy...
