Resolutions.....
Dec. 19th, 2012 12:28 pmAs I've said before, not big into them. To me, they're like diets, primed for failure. However, I usually come up with "projects" for me to do in the following yr;>. Some of the "projects" for 2013(pending the failure of the mayan Calendar Apocaylpse;>):
Continued improvement of Diet. Last yr I made an effort to increase more nonprocessed foods and when I could afford it, Organic. We'll continue working on this. It's had good effects.
Decreasing chemical use in housekeeping and personal hygene. We began them without a "project" this yr with our homemade laundry soap and changing from mopping with detergents to using plain steam. My comments about bar soap will actually start tonight.
As I mentioned earlier about using the old Yr Wheel "viked" by Stephen McNallen; we've already begun that one;>. Picked up a nice microbrewed Hard Cider for Modranacht already.
Another 2013 project started early was getting back at working with the Havamal, thanks to Matt restarted the Havamal group on Yahell. Every time I work through it(or other sections of the Eddas) I shake my head at unsterstanding WHY early founders of "The Archaic Renaisannce" ignored what was their Ancestor's Ways and when off to the GrecoRoman, Egyptian and even Hebrew
Ways to create their Neoways.
On the hobby front, grow and hybridize more Achimenes, collect more Neofinetia Orchids and their Intergenerics....
