Oh HAL;>.........
May. 1st, 2013 11:48 am2 days of "fun" with computer "issues"...though one is NOW resolved, though it took a pharmacist, a health dept. worker and an insurance company worker on a conference call nearly an hr. Only missed a single day of one aids med. Apparently, an "upgrade" left about 1/3 of all CVS pharmacies with this problem. 'Course, since it only affected aids patients, it wasn't a priority.
The other isn't still, now running at least 4 days with Blockbuster Online. They have a "glitch" which is refusing to read dvds they've mailed AS mailed, which means you can't trade them at the local store...the only reason we still have BB. They used to have a better selection of new stuff than Netflix and still do...on paper. 'Course, you put them in your queue and you get the "on order" bs. We already have Netfix but mainly use it for the streaming and Anime dvds since they seldom have anything new(er)than BB. I guess if they haven't fixed it by Friday I'll just throw them in the mail. It HAs been nice to get dvds that the local stores seldom carry then trade them in for the more "mainstream" tastes dvds.
Would have been nice to have a couple new movies to watch being mostly stuck in this house;>!
Cheers,
Pat
