Becoming One's Parents.....
Jul. 20th, 2014 04:45 amIt's become almost impossible for me to enjoy movies nowadays. I think a big part is generational. Mine is pretty much the last pre-Gamer Generation(my brother, 2 yrs younger is a 'Pong' kid;>)and the Gamer Gen is now in Power in Hollywood.
The absence of an Internal Logic to a flick is no problem to the GG's. After all, the 2nd most complained(after cost;>)is that story or even dialogue gets in the way of the Action. Add in the GG's need to "Top" the previous Installment and you have movies that make them happy but us old fogies annoyed, confused and P.O.ed that we pretty much just watched the commercial for the Game version;>......
