Time....

As I've said before, I think the ultimatum about Moving for my parents may have come too late. Truthfully, the best result is that they would get to enjoy their new, more trouble-free home for only a couple of yrs due to their health problems. The worst is that one or more doesn't make it into the house...which closes in a couple weeks.
But it's hard to treat your parents like, well your kids. Old tapes keep you from saying, "This is hat's needed, this is what's happening. It's more important than the rut you've made the last 20+ yrs". Oh well.
