'The Burning Times'.......
Oct. 8th, 2014 11:51 amOver the decades, I've lost a lot of things to improving tech. Beta flicks that didn't get into VHS. VHS flicks that didn't to DVD's. LP albums to tape. Tape to CD. The one that really I miss is Charlie Murphy's album,'The Burning Times'.
Charlie was a gay Wiccan who Passed of aids complications in the late 80's early 90's who was well-known on the festival circuit for his songs. He's also the creator of the song, "The Burning Times" of which it's chorus is now considered a "traditional chant" by Modern Pagans and even BTW's who should Know better. Every time a Pagan chants, "Isis, Astarte, Diana..." they owe this sweet man.
The rest of the album was nice too, for Pagan music;>....
Cheers,
Pat
