No More!

For my adult life I've tried to live with the moto, "The Best Person for the Job". I've Voted for Greens, Independents and Republicans. No longer.
Even IF they are the Best for the Job, I will NEVER vote knowingly for a Republican.
Yesterday was the Icing on the Cake. And listening to Repub supporters NOW saying that what they helped create was "too much" was the last straw.

After today I'm esp glad I used some of my COVID Cash to order some high end Japanese Rice. In the last yr I've learned a lot about a grain I've been eating all my life:
Washing makes a difference
Quality matters
Different cultivars ARE different
Just as a Red Delicious and a Granny Smith Apple taste markedly different so can Rice cultivars. I've been a fan of Koshihikari for yrs but with my CC I ordered a sample of a number of different cultivars. Tonight's is Yumeprika. Sweeter and more sticky than Koshihikari, I think it'll make esp good Riceballs because just plain it's delicious!
