Utgarðrs......

It's frustrating that no matter how well you argue, no matter how well thought of you are by them, an Utgarðr will always accept their belief about "Your Kind" than anything you tell them. I don't Know how many times in my life, with friends and with family I'll hear, "But I didn't mean you. You're different. Too bad other _____(fill in blank; Gay, Heathen,Folkish, Progressive,Libertarian, etc) aren't more like you.". No matter how many times I point out AS a _____, I'd be more likely to recognise folks like me more than someone whose opinions are formed from their particular religious and political views but;>.....
Oh well. Folks prefer that which reinforces their World-views, as well as showing It in a greater "light" than others. It's just Human Nature.....
Doesn't mean it's not Annoying;>
