mdehners | Another reason why I'm not "Progressive"....

I was reading some on-line news(yah, I know. I said.....)about GLBT issues(well, I'm not goingto find out on C-Span now, am I;>?). An article posted by a Progie from a conference about how we are treated around the world took Offense that most 3rd World countries were marked Red, for such "silly" reasons as an active Death Penalty for BEING Gay or Lesbian. After all, we shouldn't be "pushing our Eurocentric Values" on this folks. Here was a typical Progie, supporting actions that would get them killed if they weren't American Citizens in those countries, safe IN the West while those "Brothers and Sisters" they supposedly care so much about are being Murdered. But wait! Those are Indiginous Values, so it's not Murder!
