Why just do the Middle-Ages, "as they should have been". There are all sorts of periods as or even much more Interesting. "The Roaring 20's"? "The Last Days of the Roman Senate"? "The Empire Period"? So many more Interesting in culture, tech and even fashion. Think of the 50's without the Racism,Roman without the Slavery, the Antebellum Period without slaves?
Just a few thoughts from someone realllly tired of Renfaires;>
