It can be Surreal living here in "The Dangly Bits". It's so different than any place I've lived on the planet. As I drive to the farmer's market I pass a number of billboards declaring the President: an illegal alien, a Muslim, a Nazi, the anti-Christ. These are not even on the same properties! It's a world where Bush's disasters are passed off as "God's Will, we'll Understand in the Fullness of Time". Strangely enough, the Blacks are just as bigoted at the Whites(with the exception of the Prez stuff. That's where wingnuts separate). Where local school's tout their abilities, at the same time proudly declaring their ID "science" degrees. It's where out-of-control spending and taxes are fine if they're to kill non-Christians or Homos....otherwise, it's "Fascism"!!!!
I admit, some of it I do enjoy. I get a "kick" out of children's shows teaching Hunting(I esp. loved last night's episode where the Hunter argued with a Deer puppet that it's Wrong to kill all the Predators:>. I STILL don't "get" Fishing shows but then again, I don't Golf either;>....

I figure fishing might be fun to do, but agreed, it's so hard to watch. I just can't get wound up about the guy moving in to have a shot at the big lunker right there in the weed patch! Ohhhh! if only he had that Mr. Twister lure, with the secret juice dribbled on it! :D
