DVD recommendation....
Jul. 11th, 2008 07:52 amOutside of a few markets, you've probably never heard of GLTB Cable networks(yes, there are a couple, which puts My Folk over Blacks who just have BET. 'course, no market would DARE not carrying BET;>)and of the LOGO is the best. One, a better written version of Foxworthy's 'Blue Collar TV' is 'The Big Gay Sketch Comedy Show'. If it shows up, rent it. Even if you don't Know any Gay folk(though chances are, they know about YOU:>)you'll get the comedy. The recurring British family where the little boy wants to be a girl or the Het man bitten by a Gay Werewulf and "Comes OUt all Hairy" once a month to his mother or the two "Queer Eye" types with interchangable names (I'm Micheal Dean and I'm Dean Micheals)who spoof Martha Stewart's "homemade" routines in complete cluelessness(like the bit about making Ice yourself...a bit that brings back "2001's" apes and the monolith) and my fav, a pair of Granola Girls singing folk songs about killing. The fake 50's newsreels(like 'Thin, Fit and Peppy' about Speed), the parodies ("I can't Beleive this isn't The Body and Blood of Jesus Christ" diet communion wafers, 'Pirates of the Carribean' waylaying an Olivian Lesbian Cruise,'All in the Family' with Eddie the Dingbat and Michelle the Tofu-Hugging Peacenik, etc.
Worth it, even for "Breeders":>.
