mdehnersGot to have one of those "guy" moments with my Dad today. We got the generator back from the shop today. I couldn't get it to start and it IS 'cane season;>. Blah, blah blah then the guy points out that the reason it didn't was the position and angle of the carburator and intake; at the lowest point on the bloody machine. Dad and I looked at each other with the same look on our faces. Like the FACT that if a situation is so grim that you need back-up Power, things could possibly be, well untidy?
'Course, now I know that the next time I need it, I'll get out the broom and make sure that no dust or such could get sucked up into it. Yup, it's not just cleaning up fallen trees, wandering building material and carcasses, now I have to dust and Mop 1st before yanking the cord.....
