DVD SUggestion...

mdehnersFor you Horror OR EOTWAWKI movie fans, I recommend 'Deadlands: The Rising'. The 1st of 4 flicks from an independant film company, 'DtR' is the story of a truly average Blue-collar family after a Terrorist bioweapon goes off in the DC-Metro area.
Different from and sadly better than Romero's flick about the beginning of the Zombie Apolcalypse it covers how folks and gov't really would react. especially sad are the scenes where folks automatically get on the freeways to escape but not knowing where to go or what they're even escaping...finding themselves convienience food for the Infected. How folks generally don't think ahead even in an emergency and sadly, how folks prefer to Ignore things as soon as things calm down....
A 'The Day After', except the bomb isn't nuclear...
Worth renting...
